In general, i find the manga more enjoyable in some sense compared to the anime... although its based on the same material, the i felt that some of the nuances were lost when converted...

Also, Mugi vision is stronger in the manga (lawl). The mugi presented in the anime is very much watered down.

The Crusier Myoko's HDD decided to fail after 5years of operations... After a fustrated Sunday and emergency repairs done on thursday, Myoko is revived after placing Kagero into it...

Though some of my priced stuffs (redoable but not recoverable) are gone with the HDD's death. And I still have programs not installed... T_T

Sometimes I wonder, should I do a picture post like the one I writing now, before reading, noting and adding in details as often the only chance I get to slowly read my magazines is during admin time in camp... With a notebook in hand I sometimes write out some of the details when I am in the mood... but then all these are not reflected on the blog...

Polycanyon certainly didn't cut any slack in producing this CD. It's very detailed and well made despite it being just a Anime ED CD. (Lantis on the other hard, is -_-)

Like Jail, MSK is a top level terrorist where we really require the serivces of the TSAB instead of MHA in order for us to have Midchilda level safety rofl

So it says in hyper bold Headlines on today's Straits Times.

From what I read from the ST it would seem that
1. Johore Police caught him on April Fools Day
2. Singapore is quick to claim effort in his capture as seen in the sidelines
3. Malaysia has yet to hand him over to Singapore as of morning
4. This marks the 3rd arrest of MSK
5. Credit goes to WKS and ISD if you actually believe the Papers.

Now that they want to close the Great MSK Escape Incident, may I also take the opportunity to highlight a few points that they should look into before we bury in into the yet forgotten annals of modern Singapore...

1. Accountability for the escape. Other than sacking the 9 ISD personnel related to MSK's escape and strengthening the prison defences, it would seem like nothing else was done (pardon my poor memory). Maybe the MHA and the ISD should liase every few months or bi-annually, giving a brief on the security situations and intelligence of the country. Though I would advise using it for Opposition control as it will undermine its credence and spread its resources thin.

2. This escaped showed that the borders between Singapore and Malaysia is very porous. Perhaps more can be done in increasing joint border patrols between Singapore and the Johore coast? This can be done at the Police level instead of the Army level I think...

3. I assume the lead provided by Singapore is a vital one. However must we be so quick to claim credit especially when the arrest was actually done by the Johore Police? Such arrogance may cause neighbours to dislike you, and haven't we had enough bickering already?

AKG K-701 Headphones

Though this post is actually a more of a response to comments over at Kurogane's Blog lawl. My opinion is that a good headphone is something worth buying, though in South East Asia's context bread and butter usually comes first. Ideally it should cover the ears so that sound isolation is achieved and you should be feeling comfortable with it.

My humble Audio-Technica ATH FC-700 which has served me for 8months. It is a can with strong mid-range yet responds well to equaliser tunings. For $70 it was a steal (and still is if you only looked at mainstream shops) for its quality.

The main can has a 0.5m wire (short imo) and a 1m extension. I would have preferred a 0.8m-1.2m without extensions though.

For those who think that these are still too bulky to move around in, there's always the Koss Portapro which offers excellent mobility and powerful bass in 1 small package.

ちなみに、I know Yozuca* uses a Zumreed Sift lawl.

May Day

So its May Day again in Singapore (Labour Day). The PM and NTUC Secretary has urged all Singaporeans to keep their sprirts high despite staggering rise in unemployment and falling GDP.

Well, its probably the right thing to say, since without morale no army can fight.

What I want from them in the coming months is a plan to continue migitate the effects of the ongoing recession and probably a plan to slowly diversify Singapore beyond what we have now so as to suffer less in future recessions.

Though no fear, we are still paying them their smaller-million dollar salaries.

Precendents from the Aware Saga

Actually, it doesn't take much thinking to understand the implications of the recent takeover of Aware by the new "pro-family" exco. Ignoring whatever cause they are fighting for at the moment (and whether it has moral ground), the takeover using such methods serves to highlight a few points:

1. The line between Secular and Religion has been blurred. In time to come we may be seeing more of takeovers within the societies and organisations from people with a religious background.

2. Extremists from any Religion can influence and silence their own mainstream provided they make themselves representative of all; thus tarnishing the decades of good relationship built between other Religions in a second.

3. Extremists from any Religion can force a Regime change and non-believers will be forced to comply eventually provided adequate force is shown to cow them into submission, unless the Higher Authorities step in to stop them.

4. Politics may get more influenced by Religious ideals in time to come. Which is not good for long term survival of Singapore.

5. The SDP would probably not gain a seat in Parliament within the century, but 神様 has a standing chance judging from this saga.

Recent Events......

It has been quite a while since I blogged anything that involves current affairs... But with events like this happening right under my nose, it is hard to do nothing about it; so, blogging is a easy way to get some of my thoughts out of my head.

On Religion
Singapore was founded based on the principles Regardless of Race, Language or Religion. Yet recently it would seem like Religion has started to spill over into everyday life, affecting politics even. Repealling obsolete laws gets thrown back with explainations like "its for the majority's good". Institutions gets overthrown overnight replaced with different people with agendas unknown to the public.

On Freedom
The new soon to be implemented laws are a joke really. 1 person constituting an assembly? Oh great. Police having the ability to catch people who might want to commit a crime... Seriously, we are no better than Nazis, where their police can catch people without explaination, torture or kill them. Have you ever considered the possibility what if one day when responsible men are no longer in charge, how would the Law be used for?

On Hygiene
Well, my regards to those who died or suffered in the food poisoning. What probably failed here is probably due to lack of disclipline and mismanagement by the area commitee in charge of the temporary hawker centre.

Contary to people's views that NEA should take a tighter grip on the cleaniness and maintenence, I think all NEA needs to do is to draw out a specific guide to grading and cleaniness and sent officals around once every few months to inspect on their area cleaning. The details should be left to the hawkers and their commitee in charge to decide how they are supposed to clean their own environment.

Something unrelated to this post... I saw some very disturbing words on the covered walkways between Cathay and Paradiz Centre... If this is reflective of our society, then the future does not bode well for Singapore...

Pick-up Voice 17

I went to タカシマヤ 2 weeks ago and saw Pick-up voice 16(堀江由衣）. Didn't buy that back then coz it wasn't 奈々ちゃん on the cover. Then during the weekend I saw this. 999999 damage instantly which means I bought this through Amazon to ensure its arrival instead of waiting for kino stores.

One thing I like about Pick-up Voice over the other Seiyuu magazines is their paper quality. If you noticed its thicker than its counterparts.

They talking about White Album again... 3 more seasons till the next episode...

I personally think the B side for Yuki is well composed and really has a classique 80's feel. (Although I'm not much younger than Hirano...lawl)

Both their A sides are original tune and lyrics from Aquaplus. =D

I think they used a red filter this time round for the shoots as the photos looked warmer generally than previous issues. Or tweaked the White Balance... :)

見たい...

I know 奈々ちゃん's a great cook (back many years ago in a certain show I remember she cooked her own meal), but I interpret this as a sign of the slowing Global Economy and how it is changing people's lives gradually.

Common sense tells us that in Boom times, people are more willing to spend for the sake of convienence, and when the Boom bursts, people will be more concerned about stretching their 円 and making sure every cent counts.

Cooking your own meals is one way to save on food expenses (provided you don't eat abalone everyday) and you get to control what goes into your diet.

It might be a Recession we are living in, but maybe its also the start of a cooking renaissance?

... Actually I ordered this issue like a month ago or longer... but I gotten it late... moreover after getting it there wasn't time for me to post since I suck at super multi tasking (-_-)||

XD. I went to laminate this poster inside Pick Up Voice. For S$4.50 I think its quite a reasonable fee （＾∇＾）. But my Live Fighter limited edition posters costs S$15 each to laminate... （-_-）

This book was issued before Live Fighter DVD/BD release... but I gotten my DVD first if I remembered correctly...

And yesterday I was walking down the streets near Funan and saw this copy of the Straits Times at a convenience with this seemingly impossible news that the Government is dishing out money for Singaporeans. S$20.5billion is indeed big, big in Singapore's context anyway because the Government has never hand out such a big package before.

For those who feels that S$20.5Billion is small, yes its small compared to the hundreds of billions poured into financial institutions last year by Temasek Holdings, when the failure of the economy was not apparent yet. But look at it this way, Temasek will probably have to throw in more money to save their initial investments from going down another ravine, so I guess that's where the rest of our surpluses will go...

1 Thing I hope is that the myraid （やおよろず） of schemes that is going to be implemented gets explained down to the lower income people, particularly those in the bottom 20 percentile. Their incomes are probably dwindling down fast and they need paperwork to be easily facilitated for them, not the other way round.

Example:
Yesterday I was eating lunch and there was this woman collecting empty cans agressively to the point I was irritated, before the coffeeshop owner asked her to go away. In times like this, the price of scrap metals should have fallen drastically since demand is no longer there. So their income will be reduced also...

Any scheme that attempts to help the lowest income group will have to reach out to people like these and get them a better life.

These days Singapore are experiencing some great weather, with Temperatures of 23-29 degrees Celcius and little or no wind. Great for going out, saving on Air Con bills. Also great for SAF training as risk of heat stroke is lower.

I find the white words of the Block label doesn't show up well with the background...

I'm guessing there will be a new year event held by the PAP held Aljunied GRC when Chinese New Year draws close.

The recent cool and dry weather allowed many flowers to bloom and last better imo, than the usually rainly weather that Singapore usually experienced around this time.

As usual, in preparation for Chinese New Year the local NTUC hoists a tent outside its store to facilitate people buying. Strangely I'm not really in the mood for Chinese New Year this year...

Took this photo coz HDB flats gets repainted with new paint schemes once every few years... so take before this fleeting moment gets forgotten...

Since the last elections, most PAP held GRC's (Especially Aljunied imbo) have added facilities such as soccer pitch, jogging tracks and exercising machines to most empty fields near HDB Flats.

A great many lives were lost during the 4 year World War before peace was finally secured. And although the Soviet Union soon began to challenge Western ideology, the World had progressed on and grew through the visions and policies of many great leaders that we had in the past century.

We now enter into this new age of economic downturn, it's severity unmatched even by the Great Depression. How would the leaders of today do in order to save; and maybe preserve the and progress that we have will be something to take note of... ...

This month's post will be very rushed... partially coz i am bad at time managment, i have not much time at the computer and i am not in the mood for reviews and figure taking D8... ...

The featured seiyuu is Noto Mamiko, and basically is an interview to the current installment of Jigoku Shoujo which unfortunately I haven't been watching yet...

I wish I can draw like this. Then I can draw 奈々 and 綾 chan everyday.

The highlights of this issue is the postcards of all the Seiyuu XD

Now the PTC has approved the latest fare hike of 4 cents... with the MSM blowing cold wind over the public such as comments that 4 cents is acceptable...

Have they wondered how hard is it for the average 40-50 year old Singaporean in a low end menial job earning $1000 per month ever since they started working? 4 cents per bus trip, assuming they take feeder services only would be: ($0.73*2*30)=$43.80, aka $2.40 more than before (which is 1 meal).

Factor in the ever rising food costs - Vegetable in wet market now costs about $0.80-$1.50 per bushel instead of $0.50-$1.20 (and this is only within 6 months). Assuming 1 bushel per family per day at lowest price - $9 more. What about fish and meat which is inevitably even more expensive since they are higher up in the food chain?

Furthermore, factor in rising electric tariffs (since our local powerplants are bought over by foreigners, we do not have any say in power anymore unless we nationalise them; so it is shareholders right to always raise price at the expense of consumers)

This is the good years that our Government promised - That of ever increasing prices. Forget about inflation talks and global slowdown - It is the job of every Government to control inflation and ensure that the cost of living remains low for commoners.

Well, here's Megami 100! Congratulations Megami Magazine on its 100th issue. May it continue to be a shining example of a quality artwork magazine. =D

As the cover said, this magazine is mainly about the upcoming Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha Movie. Comes with a Strikers drama CD as well though I did not listen through it. Many thanks to MagicFindSheep for letting Bakaboi and Me browse through it first.

No to Fare Hike 2008

There has been news that SMRT and SBS, the duopoly in Singapore's transport system, has applied to the PTC for another round of fare hikes. The usual were cited, such as:

- Price of Diesel and Petrol
- Increase in Operating Cost

I would strong urge against approving a fare hike at this stage, as

1. The cost of Petroleum has sharply gone down since the record highs of last month. At least, they are now back to March 2008 levels. Ever since crude oil prices went down, the Main Petrol stations in Singapore has also responded by reducing their fuel prices across the board. If the duopoly argues that the fuel prices has increased for the past few months, the cheaper fuel prices for the next few months will improve their fuel cost/profit efficiency, and ultimately translate into bigger profit margins. To approve of an increase in fares at this stage is to allow them to take advantage of cheaper fuel costs and increase fare costs to present to the public another year of record profit for FY2008.

2. The increase in Operating Costs is what all companies face, not just the duopoly. Corporations must do their own part and take steps to maximise cost/profit instead of being a arrogant, pampered kid who go to its parents everytime profit is reduced.

3. Record inflation and stagnant wages - Singapore is experiencing an era of unprecented inflation since the 1980s, and amid stagnant wages. The wages for most menial and temporary jobs is still S$5/hour, and basic necessities such as food and transport takes up a huge chunk of their wages. Unless concrete solutions are found to increase their income without compromising on their quality of life, any increase in neccessities will markly increase their Operating Cost and reduce their Net Profit. Now who do they cry to? Noone, unlike the duopoly, who still has the PTC to cry to. Singaporeans can only rely on themselves.

4. SBS Scania buses not up to stratch - The new fleet of SBS single deck buses are meant to replace some of the existing Volvo single deckers due to wear and tear. Although the Scania buses are impressive looking, some of its qualities arent as friendly to the commuter as compared to the Volvos.

- Decreased seating capacity compared to Volvos
- Increased standing capacity compared to Volvos: Thus the commuting experience got worse than before.
- Increased jerkiness compared to Volvos: Probably due to harsher brakes
- More ambient noise compared to Volvos: 1. Engine is louder, might be due to less sound buffers used; 2. The metal air vent plates always clatter, but this can be solved by adding a thin strip of rubber or foam.

I implore the PTC to give this matter serious consideration before your final decision in a month's time.

Hello there? 1942-43 and we are seeing the operational use of Type 96? (A5M). A6M2/3 productions should have been built in sufficient quantities by now and all but training A5Ms are still in service... If you compare the the Type 96 and the Type 00, its obvious who's better all-rounded..... (-_-) Moreover if they use A5M then the Americans wouldnt have any problems dog-fighting them, since the F4F4 is more than sufficient to handle these obsolete planes...

I've been invited to attend this dicussion session organised by the People's Association held later this afternoon, but frankly, I am not very interested in both the topic and the style of the discussion; so may not attend if afterall, even though there's free lunch provided...

Now to the so called burning question - the issue of Dual Citizenship. This question is actually a non-question if you asked anyone who has some notion of Nationhood.

Then again, all these would not have happened if Singapore had managed to forge a truely close knitted society in its 43 years of Independence. It is because of the failures of the Singapore Nation that the local Government resorted to importing foreigners and now, allowing its own citizens to hold an identity of another Nation.

Strike Witches - pondering over history

Watching Strike Witches is full of win and wtf, going by the tons of fly-by patsu shots the audience were given in its maiden airing, but nope, instead of an Anime review (which I havent done since dunno how long ago), today I will rant about history and the IJN.

The story starts around the time of the Phoney War, when monsters (or aliens?) appeared from the sky and Britannia was unable to win the monsters, Supermarine Spitfire Mk 1's getting sucked into the mist and disappeared.

Magic was then developed as a way to defeat these monsters and the World's forces were marshalled to the Homelands for the Defense of the Queen.

Now, the post-modern Japanese is famous for twisting facts and details of the Second World War; as a historical fact lover, I cannot stomach these loose standards of storyboarding with regards to historical accuracy.

1. The appearing of monsters at the British Homelands in 1939 would have likely gave de Furher a free hand in invading the Low Countries, Austria, Hungary and the Baltic nations as in History. There will be no "Peace in my time" deals concluded at all. This will probably hasten the Reich's conquest of mainland Europe, possibly force might not be needed even since Britainnia would have no spare troops to spare for the maintainence of World Order.

2. With Britainnia fighting for its life, its colonies will probably be less defended, with the Bulk of the fleet probably based at Portsmouth or Scapa Flow. Such deployments would serve to strengthen the IJN's position in Asia, with only the US Pacific Fleet being the sole opponent. Scholars of Imperial Japan will understand that Japan was irreversably committed to "defensive war" ever since the US freeze of Japanese Assets and Oil imports due to Japanese invasion of Manchuria and subsequently, Mainland China.

With the British Fleet unable to aid its Far East colonies (Malaya, Hongkong, India, Burma, Australia and New Zealand), it will be good to assume that the conquest of South-East Asia would be completed faster than they took, and at far less infrastructure damage to the precious oil refiniries.

3. France would probably be in a bad position by 1940, Soviet Russia probably in a similar precadictment (although the Molotov agreement did bought a year of time for the Soviets in real life). The Wermarcht would probably be surrounding France from 2 sides, and the French could not count on Spain and Portugal for assistance. It would be foolhardy to send their best to save Britain when the threat of invasion is very real.

That said, the other warship details are superb. I managed to identified all of the escorting Destroyers (I think), which are all from the Kagero Class. As shown in the Anime, they are - イソカゼ, ハマカゼ, ハギカゼ, タニカゼ, ウラカゼ and ユキカゼ.

The truth about Singapore Labour

Singapore. The local MSN and Government Statistics will paint a rosy picture of High employment, along with happy citizens and most Singaporeans getting a rosy job lulling in an Air-Conditioned Office.

It would appear that reality is always harsher than what we had been fed. In truth, Singapore is severely dependent on low income labour. Look at our manufacturing sectors - tens of thousands of housewifes, aunties and uncles in their 50s. The logistics sector paints a similar picture - Who is willing to pack and move your goods? Certainly not the average joe who holds a Diploma or A Level Certificate. These form our real worker class and they do all the menial jobs in exchange for a pittance.

Then another harsh fact. These Manufacturing and Logistics MNCs prefer to stay in Singapore - simply because of the way our Government incenticises them.

Minimum wage - We have none. For that reason, MNCs can still dish out $5/h for the labourously tiring dead end job.

Wage increases - The NWC is but a lame duck in my honest opinion, as its recommendations only affects Government related corporations and to a lesser extent, GLCs. The other companies have absolutely no obligation to increase wages whatsoever.

Stable political environment - the PAP has held near complete dominance over the last half century, which during its time moderated the free press and social political voices that existed in the country. The result is a lopsided media and obedience to the PAP's rule. As MNCs will inherently favor Stable Democracy > Stable Democratic Principles > Stable Authoritarian > Unstable Democracy > Unstable Authoritarian; since our neighbours lose to us in terms of stability, it is only natural why MNCs placed their eggs in Singapore.

It is a sad day for Singapore indeed. 50 years of achivement is actually more like 50 years of noise and smoke.

Words cant describe how much I love Alter's Loli Fate ^_^. Since there is not much artifical waterworks near my house, I had to settle with the next best - Night Shots, because I feel that Night Shots will bring out more of her charm.

That way Singapore would save tons on Electricity and CO2 production and I would get a even nicer Night Shot. Win-win でしょう？

Well, bought the Newtype and a whole bunch of other magazines last week (the IT Show week), but had been too lazy to blog about them. As you can see below, I am too lazy to use Photoshop and turn it the right way up, instead doing a quick batch resize in IrfanView.

I bought this month's NewType because Haruhi is on the main cover. On hindsight I should have just listened to Bakaboi and save my $13.00 for something else.

Btw, Kyon looks creepy here.

Didn't really buy alot today, since stuff I wanted will take some time before arriving in sg, but still went to Kino and bought the 2 HiMM manga along with a friend's Dengeki Daioh, coz he asked me to help him buy while he is in BMT.

Speaking of BMT, I will need to find someone to help me buy mags and stuff as well when my turn comes in September.

Browsed through book 4 on the bus, though didnt really focused on the words.

And book 5 is still prestine.

Oh btw, Kino is having a 20% discount from now till 6 of July, so B/B/S a Kino discount card and reap the benefits ^_^

That said, this month's estimated balance is now S$29 -_-

World Book Fair 2008

Well, I did visit the World Book Fair with friends on wednesday night after first seeing it over on Kippei's blog.

Its located right at the right end of the Book Fair. Unfortunately due to time constraits I wasnt able to browse through the other "normal" books, though I saw mainly Chinese bookstores and even a Sichuan quake fund raising organised by some people of unknown origin...

The manga's arent any cheaper than those in Kinokuniya. In fact I would rather buy at Kinokuniya... (and Kino got Japanese ones somemore)

Those large wall scrolls sell for $50 each. They are ripped off magazine scans - for example its obvious where that Shana comes from ^_^. The printing quality for the large wall scrolls are mediocre at best and the resizing seems to be done using PointResize(x,y) and GaussianBlur 3.0px.

Materiel seems abit thin to me though cloth is ok I guess. Fireboy88 said their needlework is cmi.

These Death Note plushies looks real enough to me though.

And this medium sized wall scrolls sell for only $10 each; this Haruhi's printing is much better than the large wall scans ones.

Alastors' dont come cheap. But if they used real crystals and sell it for $150 I think I will buy it, along with the anti-flame ring Yuuji wore.

These magazines are HK/Taiwan based but dont feel like buying any of them.

See those Dakimakuras? Cant remember how much they are selling but the colours are abit off unfortunately.

These plushies are well made though.

If the titile there read Nagato-ism I might have bought it.

This plastic wall poster is authentic Taiwan maker though. I bought this Haruhi poster for $10 ^_^. Haven't paste it on wall nia.

Was watching 易中天品三国 yesterday at a friend's house and one part was especially striking to me. It was about Zhuge Liang and the rule of Law.

In that particular episode, Prof. Yi mentioned that Zhuge Liang was an admirer of the Qin State's policy of implementing the feudal laws. By implementing the feudal law, the State of Qin achieved rapid economic and social growth, gradually becoming the State which unified China. Zhuge Liang was trying to emulate that.

Implementing feudal law as Prof. Yi explained has its advantages that are important for a poor country:
- The enforcement of harsh punishments ensures that corruption is kept at a minumum
- Harsh laws ensures that citizens will not revolt and work hard
- In due course it leads to a sustainable and expanding economy

Feudal law does have its disadvantages, however. They are:
- Loss of individual identity
- In due course it will stifle creativity
- The harsh laws make livelihoods hard for the commoners

In the State of Shu's case, being the smallest country of the 3 Kingdoms and bearing the constant threat of being overwhelmed by numbers in an invasion by the State of Wei, the commoners were subjected to additional taxes (both grain and coin I believe) to fund a well prepared standing army.

From statistics, Shu's population was 940,000 then, with a standing army of 104,000 and Officals totalling 40,000. This means that 1 soldier/offical is supported by only 6.52 citizens.

In addition, Prof. Yi had explained that the Northern Expeditions were necessary because it was needed to clam internal unrest - specifically the Home Grown talents from revolting.

Thus he established the dire straits that both the State of Shu and its people were constantly in; which partially was why it was the first State to get wiped out.

Apply it to our local context, and strangely it seem to fit in so well.

1. Singapore pride's itself on having a strict set of laws
2. Singapore strongly emphasises on National Defense
3. Singapore has a large array of Officals and positions.
We have many institutions of Government, including but not limited to: the President, Prime Minister, the Cabinet, the Elected Parliamentary Members, the Non Elected Parliamentary Menbers, the Statutory Boards, the Judicary, the Town Councils, the CDCs, MINDEF and maybe even more Organisations that I never heard of. In short the Government is the main source of employment, and it is supported directly by the blood of the people.

4. Singapore prides itself on achieving stellar reports on many international business reports/ magazines for many years.
Nuff said that this is actually one way to shut up your critics and expose on your own value.

I only hope that the we will not suffer the same fate as the State of Shu did. May we last as long as Britannia ruled the waves.

Only 30 days ago, I had thought that I will be able to follow a very tight fiscal policy. But I proved myself wrong. T_T

What's good is that I learnt and compiled a Profit and Loss Statement for myself from now on. It helps alot seeing how much money you earned and spent, as well as the Net Income at the end of every month ^_^

I also made a Credit and Debit worksheet to keep track of other stuff. Sadly I forgot about it mostly liao (study and forget lol), luckily can shout over to my sister for answers since she's studying accounts and macroecons this sem.

I think this one's worth it, although its very random. For $5.90, u get a small clearsheet.

I got the apron Kaede.

Though I would had prefer the Asa x Kaede one LOL!

The following stuff are not mine - I helped my friends out on these. Though I took a 7MP shot of them.

Too bad I never got to watching Sekerei, otherwise I might understand why they liked the show more.

Bought this Toyworks Shana and Fate Tesstarossa ticket from Lawliet this evening, for S$60. This hikkikomori here dunno much about city locations one, so he had to get Bakaboi to guide him... ...

Anyways, the bane of all CCD compact camera is night shots. CCD cameras generally perform badly at high ISOs and have lousier gradients; my DMC-FX12 is no exception. u_u...

Btw, the pinky (hope I spelt it correct) is Bakaboi's one.

I like this shot. Got a very friendly Girl Next Door kind of look.

This shot I photoshopped by mainly reddening her hair. Probably overdid it abit.

This shot I also like alot. Seems like the 炎眼のシャナ is about to get into Battle mode . Better get out before things get messy. Though I will never know what happen since a fuzetsu would be casted.

Overall, an average buy, coz I didnt notice the faint manufacturing defect at the face. Luckily there's always photoshop to the rescue but some may say it's cheating...

This is the winning shot inside Sunshine Plaza. I had a piece of paper pasted over the flash, but it wasnt strong enough to reduce the flash. Luckily Bakaboi has a piece of name card which effectively dimmed the flash. ^_^
